The 28th National Cowboy Poetry Gathering

The National Cowboy Poetry Gathering is a week-long celebration of life in the rural West, featuring the contemporary and traditional arts that arise from lives lived caring for land and livestock.

2012 Elko Mining Expo

Elko Mining Expo is one of the oldest and most respected mining expos held in the United States and draws close to 8,000 people, nationally and internationally, to its mining industry exhibits and technical seminars. Elko Skyfair 2012

The Experimental Aircraft Association and El Aero Services are proud to host the Elko Sky Fair 2012

The Sky Fair promotes aviation in Elko with static displays of vintage and warbird aircraft, displays of locally operated aircraft and firefighting equipment, radio controlled model flying demonstrations, hot air balloon exhibition, military displays, and much more! El Aero Services will be offering helicopter rides for Sky Fair patrons. We will start the day off with an 8:00 AM pancake breakfast provided by our local EAA chapter. Lunch will be provided by the Civil Air Patrol.
